Concept Overview

Chloé Lumière Sauvage Collection is created with biodegradable and bioluminescent based materials. The goal of the collection is to push Chloé’s sustainability initiatives further by having them step out of the box in innovation while also staying true to Chloé’s mission of women empowerment. The glow shinning off the clothes at night are to embody the inner glow of a women.

In the Lumière Sauvage Collection, the aesthetic of Chloé will stay the same, pushing for more free flowing silhouettes in dresses, skirts, shirts, and pants. There will be a romantic-bohemian touch in traditional colors Chloé normally uses such as pastels and neutrals.

The biodegradable materials being used in the collection hemp, tencel, organic cotton, and bioluminescent fabric.

Bioluminescent materials

Bioluminescent Fabrics are a new fashion innovation, glowing naturally like deep-sea creatures, fungi, and fireflies. They emit light without external power, creating an ethereal, futuristic effect.

In the Lumière Sauvage Collection we will be focusing on the Photoluminescent Fibers. These fabrics absorb light during the day and release it in the dark, creating a soft glow.

Photoluminescent fibers are textiles infused with phosphorescent pigments, such as strontium aluminate, which absorb light and gradually release it in the dark. Unlike chemical-based glow fabrics, these materials can recharge indefinitely with exposure to sunlight or artificial light.
